SDP candidate's remark "keling kia" was offensive to the Indian community. What is the word for "Indian" in the dialect? Can we say "Blackie"? That's not acceptable, right?

Despite WP's popularity going down the drain bit by bit, they remain popular according to the rallies. Do some people hate the PAP that much? Another reason would be that the spectators are planted?

People define "good" in different ways. Since the last general election, we rarely see truly good people, only good rhetoric and accounting. SM Lee, where have you been?

GE2025: Good government needs good people, don't play dangerous game with tactical voting, says SM Lee.

Tried & Tested

1) Foreigners are surpassing Singaporeans in various aspects.

2) The public housing situation is problematic.

3) Private housing prices are at an all-time high, and living spaces are shrinking. It feels like humans are being treated like animals in cages.

4) COE prices are a joke, and the roads have become extremely unsafe.

As long as they can collect money, everything can be overlooked.

Before any racial riots erupted, the government needed to investigate past communications among Islamic extremists. They should not be concerned about the backlash from the WP supporters.

I haven't had time to watch the rallies. I'm still waiting for someone to say," You will have money if you put huge money plants in your house."

The results are still good 😊 if they receive 57 per cent of the votes 🗳️, based on their last 5 yrs of performance.

It's difficult to appreciate everyone in a 4 or 5-team in GRC. For example, I dislike seeing Gerald Giam and Sylvia Lim leave Aljunied. Whether Aljunied wins or loses, the outcome will not make much of a difference between good and bad.

Both Christians ✝️ and Buddhists 🧘 will likely support Tampines GRC, as their team is considered stronger 💪 than Faisa Manap.

When we live at home with our parents, we have free vouchers, perks, and the comforts of home. Yet, we can't wait to move out. The idea of having our own space, making our own decisions, the freedom, personal growth and having friends over wins in the end with free vouchers and the things we took for granted living with parents at home!

Times are definitely changing. The younger generation values their own personal space, especially where living conditions can feel cramped. Many are seeking living spaces that still offer a sense of independence, with privacy. This shift shows a trend towards valuing experiences and personal time over traditional of home and family. It will be interesting to see how these preferences shape housing and community design in the future.

Vouchers and handouts from parents will not encourage them to stay.

How many people had already booked their holidays well in advance and could not vote?

Conscience:

Conscience is often described as a sense of right and wrong that guides our thoughts and actions. It plays a crucial role in ethical decision-making, helping individuals navigate. A well-developed conscience can foster empathy and compassion, that align with one’s values and principles. It’s also influenced by various factors, including cheating, abuse of power. Conscience acts as a moral compass, that reflect our beliefs about justice, fairness, and kindness.
If one has no conscience, look out for lightning that can strike or karma that may help you sleep not so well at night. Some things happen for a not-so-good reason.

Those who win big against weak opponents don't equate to being true winners. True winners are individuals like Gan Kim Yong. Goliath and Goliath.

'Clear signal of trust and confidence,' says Lawrence Wong following PAP's victory in his first election as PM'

Mr. Lawrence Wong expressed that the recent victory of the People's Action Party (PAP) in his first election as Prime Minister is a 'clear signal of trust and confidence.' However, it’s important to acknowledge that while he may represent the 65% of voters who feel this way, we should not assume the same sentiment for the 35% who do not share that trust in the PAP who just do not have that kind of trust in the PAP! Please do not put words into the mouths of the 35%.

The truth is you only won by 15%, not 65%

A lot of people are happy that Gerald Giam and Jamus will continue to be in parliament. Jia Yu.

Gan Kim Yong and a limited few—just one look at him exudes sincerity, genuineness, and authenticity. Ministers like him are in the minority. The others are there for money and power.

It will be interesting to know that those small parties did not participate and walkover. Only Workers Party, PSP and SDP, and Independent were participating, What would the national averages score be?

SMC Jalan Kayu PAP Ng Chee Ming: "Although you received only 51.5 percent, you are a *real winner* because the fight was a level playing field. Therefore, you can carry your head high with pride." Those in Tanjong Pagar even though they secured 81% it was expected because between the heavy weight and the underdog. In fact, surprised that they did not secure 99 percent which they could easily achieved.

believe that Leong Mun Wai has negatively impacted the party due to all the issues surrounding the Pofmas.

My colleagues—who work in finance like I do in Shenton Way—mentioned that their parents had texted them about the election in Singapore. Some of these parents are from various Asian countries, while others are from developed nations. Although my colleagues responded to their families, they refused to share what the messages contained. The only thing we heard was that they advised their families to delete the texts. This leads us to assume that they still hold onto the mindset of the LKY era.

I did not even know who Gerald Giam is till I started hearing how much people like him. That was when I started looking out on him. The young and able bodied probably away for the long Labour Day holidays. The silver-generation could be part the 92.5 % who voted for them? Off course you vote for the party who gives you money not for anything else.

I know a few people who really despise the incumbent. When Lim Tean and his team became the opposition candidates in their constituencies, it created a dilemma for them. Ultimately, they voted for the PAP, feeling they had to do so, not because they wanted to. Lim Tean and his team should consider staying away from the next General Election. Apologies!

Ng Chee Ming, you can survive this. If people with dubious character proven by the court can or are allowed to become the Leader of the Opposition in a country where we were told to hold high standards, there is something very wrong with the system. What is considered acceptable or appropriate for one person should also be considered acceptable or appropriate for another person in a similar situation.
