Lazada and Shoppe

Lazada and Shopee are engaged in a struggle for market share in the e-commerce business.

Both companies are making big losses. In the case of Shopee, the loss is horrendous.

It seems SRARHUB has issued me with a Bill for the amount of SGD???. ??

I assume this is related to the cross-carriage of EPL to Singtel? I was not advised of any such charge.

Notwithstanding this I have downloaded the My Starhub app to my HP, and set up an account as per the app quoted instructions, however after several attempts I am unable to make the mentioned payment.

Many DBS Bank/POSB branches with manned counter services have either closed or been replaced with ATM-only booths.

WE TOO HAVE HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH DBS. THOSE GOOD OLD DAYS WHERE SERVICE AND PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER THERE. DURING ONE OF OUR EPISODES, WITH THEM, WE FOUND HOW THEIR HANDLING WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL WHICH WAS A SHOCK COMING FROM A STATE BANK. WE CHECKED THE STAFFS CREDENTIALS ON THEIR LINKEDIN PROFILE AND WERE HORRIFIED AT THEIR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES. THE WRITTEN REPLY THEY GAVE WERE EITHER POORLY EXPRESSED OR STANDARDISED ANSWERS. DBS OPERATION IS ABOUT MAKING BIG BUCKS BY HIRING THE CHEAP. This entails paying Starhub circa. SGD94.00 / Mth. on top of what I am already paying Singtel contract that comes with football.

Whilst Singtel has condescended to provide me (A purported 'Loyal' customer) with an SGD30 / Mth discount for a limited period of 12 Mths.

Following the limited 12 Mth period, Singtel's Bill will return to the original amount (Pre. cross-carriage arrangement) at which time I will have to pay both Starhub and Singtel (circa SGD94.00 + SGD30.00) for the EPL football which only Starhub can provide.

In conclusion, the 'loyal' Singtel customer is (for want of a better term) being screwed!!!!!!; August 28, 2022 11:57 AM
