Review of Ping An Insurance (2318.HK)

A year ago, my friend asked for my view about Ping An Insurance (2318.HK). I told him that I prefer to invest in PICC Property & Casualty (2328.HK) as it is undervalued and offer a better return. Here is an update.

The joys of wanting to watch the EPL football.........Being a Sintel loyal customer for many years I discovered that now I must take on a cross-carriage arrangement between Starhub and Singtel.

This entails paying Starhub circa. SGD94.00 / Mth. on top of what I am already paying Singtel contract that comes with football.

Whilst Singtel has condescended to provide me (A purported 'Loyal' customer) with an SGD30 / Mth discount for a limited period of 12 Mths.

Following the limited 12 Mth period, Singtel's Bill will return to the original amount (Pre. cross-carriage arrangement) at which time I will have to pay both Starhub and Singtel (circa SGD94.00 + SGD30.00) for the EPL football which only Starhub can provide.

In conclusion, the 'loyal' Singtel customer is (for want of a better term) being screwed!!!!!!

Scan QR code menu- Use a QR scanner on your phone to order- Clear your table- Still need to pay a 10% service charge-WTF.

My mother wanted to watch certain shows on Starhub as she finds some local shows distasteful.
I did the application on her behalf.
After some go-arounds, and after succeeding and now one year later, I discovered that I was charged $5 a month for paper bills that were supposed to be sent to the house. My mother did not receive the paper bills.

It has now become what you pay is not what you get in this country.

Frugal people spend their money consciously.

Knowing the prices of things they buy regularly, by keeping a list or remembering
Look out for sales on things which regularly use or will be needed in the near future
Willingly to buy a used item instead of new.

Stop complaining about costs and be costs-conscious.

Everything has a price.

Life has no price.

Lui Ling Ling's video has a lot of viewings for National Day.

Computers can only replace humans for certain tasks.

The hard copies menu is a better viewing and comparison if it has more than 6 pages of food and prices rather than scrolling the app on the phone.

You have to know what you know and what you don't know.

It is my wedding night and I will be getting a good screw. My new husband is a lawyer.

In this rapid and confusing technological age, some things need to go back to basics.

Most of us have a nose to sniff out insincerity.

Knowing our limits without being stuck out with rigidity and the definition of others.

Don't expend too much energy worrying about the small stuff.

Know that intelligience is different from IQ.

When you are feeling low, make a visit to Hospice or shelter for the homeless.

Make your own bed for comfort.

Avoid plastic surgery. Learn to love your own body and feel comfortable in your own skin.

Aim for the extraordinary.
