Promote Cashless Payment in Singapore

 Here is my latest feedback to MAS.

I hope to get them to be interested to use SG Wallet as the platform to integrate the fragmented and silo platforms that operate in Singapore now. These platforms are difficult to use and often contained bugs.

Mr Tan, your intentions may be good.

When people are to be dictated into the act of payment, could it be taking away people's freedom? I think we should not be encouraging a government that is already micromanaging the trivial and ignoring the great significance of the country.

I frequented a café quite frequently.

On normal days usually a large print at paying counter, "CARD ONLY- NO CASH."

On some not-so-normal days a small print, "CASH ONLY- SYSTEM DOWN."

He fully understood that in the next GE if the votes succumb to 53%, he may need a plan B. The dilemma is that if he retires after the bad results, he will be wrong. If he stays, he will still be wrong. So what would be the treatment? Stay or leave? Leave or stay?
If they are honest enough, the poor display of the flags is not a good indication..
If he thinks that it is hard for him, it is even harder for the people!

We saw those blood donations that have contributed to the public good may decrease if donors

Paying your child to get good grades in school can, over the long run have a perverse effect,

Dear Sir / Mdm,

It seems STARHUB has issued me with a Bill for the amount of SGD???. ??

I assume this is related to the cross-carriage of EPL to Singtel? I was not advised of any such charge.

Notwithstanding this I have downloaded the My Starhub app to my HP, and set up an account as per the app quoted instructions, however after several attempts I am unable to make the mentioned payment.

Could you kindly simplify the process and advise accordingly?

Forum: Long queues due to fewer manned bank branches.

Many DBS Bank/POSB branches with manned counter services have either closed or been replaced with ATM-only booths.

WE TOO HAVE HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH DBS. THOSE GOOD OLD DAYS WHERE SERVICE AND PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER THERE. DURING ONE OF OUR EPISODES, WITH THEM, WE FOUND HOW THEIR HANDLING WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL WHICH WAS A SHOCK COMING FROM A STATE BANK. WE CHECKED THE STAFFS CREDENTIALS ON THEIR LINKEDIN PROFILE AND WERE HORRIFIED AT THEIR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES. THE WRITTEN REPLY THEY GAVE WERE EITHER POORLY EXPRESSED OR STANDARDISED ANSWERS. DBS OPERATION IS ABOUT MAKING BIG BUCKS BY HIRING THE CHEAP. THE INDIAN CEO IS NOT EVEN WORTH 1 MILLION LET ALONE 10 MILLION ANNUALLY!!!!!!!!
