This collective sale of a condo almost went through, but failed due to a last minute hurdle.

Unless it is a freehold👍 site, developers prefer GLS👍.

Straight forward and uncomplicated😊😀🥂🎉.

No time⏲️⌚ is needed for the demolition👌🙏🫂.

No need to give 6 months of free stay😭😔 to the owners after purchase completion, when they are looking to purchase another house to live in.

Time to them means money💰🤑💸💱💰. The sooner they can sell the earlier they have an income which they have to pay the bank loans💳🪙 with high-interest charges.

The 5-year timeline only benefits the government ABSD💸💸. Since when did the government rules have fewer advantages😡😠👿 to the government🤣😞😟?

A Creative Lawyer.

A lawyer who had 12 children was in a tight bind because his rental agreement was coming to an end, and he was looking for a new home. He could not easily find one because no one wanted a tenant who had 12 children who would most likely destroy the house.

Since he was a lawyer, he could not easily lie about his family situation. So on the day, a new real estate agent came to meet up with him, he told his 11 children and his wife to go to the cemetery.

During the interview, the real estate agent asked, “How many children do you have?”

He answered truthfully, “Twelve.”

Seeing he only had one beside him, the agent curiously asked, “Where are the rest, then?”

The lawyer answered with a sad look, “They’re in the cemetery with their mother.”

And that’s how his agreement was signed, and he was able to rent a new home without lying.

We are a family of Permanent Residents.
Four years ago after en-bloc, we decided to rent first, thinking and wishing that prices would drop.
I know many of my neighbors did the same, more so for PRS for the reason of 5% ABSD.
Regrettably, prices trended upwards.
We bit the bullet and bought a property after a few years of looking out to buy.
This en-bloc available to spend money could be one contributing factor pushing up prices?
