Singapore is the 4th most desirable place to work, according to this report. I observe that it is good for expatriates, but not so good for locals, based on the complaints about the cost of living and competition with foreigners.

I rush my 80+yo father to KTPH Emergency on 7May 10pm. The 24hr clinic is packed with both local and foreigner.
At 3am 8 May (weekday), the Emergency Ward is 3/4 filled. A Philipine doctor treat my father. A Philipine nurse attend to his nursing need. A Malaysian pharmacy issue medicine. The casher counter is empty!
If we do not have expertriate to help our healthcare industry, what would happen to you and your family member?
If natural disaster, social unrest, mass causaulty or the like happened, will we have enough healthcare workers to save life?
