Expensive child care

I saw these fees for child care.

Infant Care School fees Full-Day Programme $1,364.00
Childcare School fees Half-Day Programme $690.00
Childcare School fees Full-Day Programme $770.00
Registration Fee, Deposit, Uniform, .... not included

I know that the fees are expensive, but I did not expect them to be so expensive. There is government subsidy, but how much?

No wonder, families do not want to have children.

The fees are really out of this world.

And the government still does not want to introduce a minimum wage of just $1,200 for an adult? This is not enough to pay for the full day program for a child.

Something is seriously wrong in Singapore. Our costs and wages are seriously out of alignment.

Follow the Rohingas, they dont need child care. They can be anywhere, in the tents, on the streets , on the run or anywhere. Singaporeans are spoilt. They can have a dozen children without govtn incentives. They can be very poor but they are very rich in children. They expect the Myanmar govt and the people to take care and bear the cost. Follow the Rohingas.
