WOTC - Dispute with Malaysia

I asked this question in the Wisdom of the Crowd:

Why is PM Lee quiet during the current dispute with Malaysia?

Here are the responses: (39 Votes)
51 % - He is not exercising proper leadership and taking responsibility.
26 % - It is better for him to keep quiet and avoid making the situation worse.
21 % - He handled the situation poorly, so it is best to let other people solve the problem.
3 % - He prefers to give the younger leaders a chance to deal with this dispute.

The 26% and the 21% are astute voters.
PM Lee handled relations with Dr M poorly right from Day 1 when PH won the Malaysian Elections.
We give kudos to Lee for keeping to the background, typical of the way he works, let his Ministers carry out his instructions before coming out to talk. Wrong to say he lacks leadership, knowing well Tun has axe to grind with his Lee family. Let his men like the self conceited Kausikan and his Ministers as his proxy talkers to avoid directly provoking the Doc.
Sympathy to our Transport Minister Khaw, a former Malaysian, who has the dirty job confronting his former PM Dr M, on behalf of his present boss, PM Lee.
