WOTC - Thailand Parliament

I asked this question in the Wisdom of the Crowd:

Thailand Parliament has 250 appointed senators and 500 elected MPs.

Here are the responses: (35 Votes)

43 % - It provides for a good mix of senators with experience and popularly elected MPs.
37 % - This is not democratic.
11 % - It will be useful if the appointed senators are people with a record of past service to the country.
9 % - It creates stability and allows for a change of government in a more gradual manner.
