What is the point of this "reporting exercise"?
Surely the manpower minister must know that nearly all businesses need to adopt cost-saving measures? If they have to tell her, she will get hundred of thousand reports.
What can she do with the reports?
Can she learn from Italy and other countries what the government can do to help businesses and the households?
The Italian govt asked the banks to give a moratorium for the repayment of housing loans and other bills. This will help the households to tide over the current difficulties.
Can she learn from TKL?

When we were young, whatever our parents said or talked to us, we tend to consider them old-fashion or naggy. We had no idea they were worried for us all the time and the love they had for us was paramount. We felt like they were building a prison wall around us. Out of respect for them, we told lies so as not to hurt them and also feared being shouted and being punished.
