Easy to tell sinkies to go do the hard or blue collar work. But are you willing to pay? E.g. $12 for economical bee hoon or hawker centre chicken rice, $5 for 15 min bus & mrt rides, etc

Just like in Sydney, Auckland, London, New York, or San Francisco.

If we don't mind a lifestyle like in those cities, then sure, go for it. E.g. cut down on ordering outside food, cook 95% of your own food, prepare your own sandwiches or rice to bring to work for lunch, forget about hiring live-in maids. Part-time houses cleaners will be minimum $25/hour.
