The technology Trap- even if the progress came at the expense of those ages 55 onwards. The saying of you cannot teach old cows new tricks is very true. My parents are suffering from the withdrawal of"hard copies." Soft copies are more for the youngsters who grew up with technology. The government needs to understand that no single policy can address the full spectrum of societal challenges. Regrettably, proposing what they thought would be an easy way in the short term, but reality catches up.

Those top scholars?? who gloss over technology choose to overlook that those who are not tech-savvy are being penalised wickedly, new era or not. The failure to deal with that, society makes up of all kinds of people, not just the tech-savvy. The bottom line is that regardless of what the future of technology holds, it is up to us to shape its societal impact. My grandparents are so traumatised by all these technologies that they have decided to keep their money in tins, not that they have much by the way. It still means that it is their security.

Some government agencies still cater to all groups of people. They have at least one person whose job is to help those who cannot read and write properly or an interpreter on standby.

I find the public hospitals here value feedback seriously considering the number of patients in and out daily. I never missed feedback sent on my phone after each visit. The questionnaire was simple and straight to the point. This has helped to keep the healthcare staff on their toes. My visit was normally pleasant, except for the long wait at A&E.

Train of Life
By Jean d'Ormesson

At birth, we boarded the train of life and met our parents,
and we believed that they would always travel by our side.
However, at some station, our parents would step down from the train,
leaving us on life's journey alone.

As time goes by, some significant people will board the train:
siblings, other children, friends, and even the love of our life.

Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum.
Others will go so unnoticed that we won't realize that they vacated their seats!
This train ride has been a mixture of joy, sorrow, fantasy,
expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells.

A successful journey consists of having a good relationship with all passengers,
requiring that we give the best of ourselves.
The mystery that prevails is that we do not know at
which station we ourselves will step down.
Thus, we must try to travel along the track of life in the best possible way -
loving, forgiving, giving, and sharing.

When the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty -
we should leave behind beautiful memories for
those who continue to travel on the train of life. Let’s remember to thank our Creator
for giving us life to participate in this journey.
I close by thanking you for
being one of the passengers on my train!
