Wisdom of the Crowd: 100% of the respondents said that the PAP will lose votes and seats at the next general election (Shhh. Only 12 people voted).

Old government;

How to provide for the people.
How to make their lives easier.
How to make people feel safe.
How to make people feel wanted.
Acted in good faith.

New government;

Talk a lot of nonsense.
How to increase taxes and collect more money.
How to cut costs.
How to screw the people.
How to sweep things under the carpet.
How to feather their own nests.
How to give defensive and unaccountable replies.
Inexperience, but acted like they are smart.
Spending reserves recklessly.
Acted not in good faith.
The plight and frustrations of the people are ever-increasing.
Lack of sincerity and lack of action.

Since the passing of LKY, there is no fear if they do not perform. They have enough money in their banks to last them through generations. It has been known that the present government is losing its grip and things are spiralling downwards. And if LHL can't do better, what makes the people think a new PM can? What LKY feared is all coming true.

While there are some fanatically devoted to the PAP, I know for sure that more than half

my contacts will be cutting their noses to spite their faces voting against them. People are

sick of being treated like commodities.

RULING PARTY OR BIGGEST OPPOSITION PARTY?

Flogging horses - Various Opinions

The tribal wisdom of the Dakota Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that -

“When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, best strategy is to dismount."

However, in government, more advanced strategies are often employed, such as:

1. Buying a stronger whip.

2. Changing riders.

3. Appointing a committee to study the horse.

4. Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.

5. Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included.

6. Reclassifying the dead horse as living-impaired.

7. Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.

8. Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed.

9. Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse's performance.

10. Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse's performance.

11. Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.

12. Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses.

And of course....

13 Promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.

If you don't understand this theory, you haven't lived long enough.
