Big organisations may have their footprints here, but most services are outsourced and their call centers are either in India, the Philippines or Malaysia. Singtel is one of them. You go to Singtel headquarters wher you get a q number and go into a small room and video people not with Singaporean accents or someone with a hijab for inquiries. These people have all our personal details.

The government call this globalization. We call it the loss of jobs to cheaper countries.

The previous model generations aimed to earn as much money as possible, as opposed to the new generation choosing to work less even if it means less money. The young need more technical skills as when Covid where foreign workers and Malaysians were temporarily barred from coming in, it was like everything was at a standstill.

I am frequently at loggerheads with my only daughter. I expect her to be home by 11 pm when she is out as there are many dangers and bad people out there, but being in her early twenties, she thinks she knows best.

As a last resort, when Singtel sent a technician, the appointment took time.
When he arrived, before he entered my place, he put on an overcoat with a Singtel logo over his shirt.
He was late as he had come from Malaysia.

Young don't like to work. They just want the fast and easy bucks like scamming and be YouTubers

Every organisation has turnover.

This is inevitable.

Beware of Bitcoin investment schemes where scammers, posing as experienced "investment managers," lure investors with tales of massive cryptocurrency profits. Promising hefty returns, these fraudsters ask for an upfront fee, only to vanish with your money, leaving you with empty promises. They may even ask for personal information under the guise of fund transfers, risking your cryptocurrency security. Don't let the allure of quick wealth cloud your judgment. Always verify the credibility of those you're investing with and remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Stay informed, invest wisely, and protect your digital assets.
