A friend of mine whose parents have been bugging them to return to Singapore as their first child is due to start school soon, and their concerned about the drugs around the school.

Having just returned from a 9-night cruise, and sharing a cabin with a niece, I discovered to my horror, that she was doing illegal substances. What shocked me was how she got them. The next time you wonder why people are paying to get contracts to their advantage maybe it is because they have seen leaders doing it. If your leadership is willing to have such an attitude and take such a step, it shows the kind of mentality of leaders. It will not be long before you see the “monkies” following and corruption will spread like wildfire. Bringing in tourism is one thing but "paying for a contract? Ngow Chun Siong, 44, was sentenced to seven months' jail after he pleaded guilty to one count of bribery on Monday (Feb 13).

SINGAPORE — To get NTUC FairPrice to buy more of his seafood, Lim Poh Heng gave several of the supermarket chain's employees at least S$86,780 over 10 years as bribes. On Monday (Feb 26), the 71-year-old was sentenced to eight months' in jail and a S$2,000 fine for three charges of corruptly giving gratifications.26 Feb 2024.

Anonymous said...: I) It took nearly three months for him to come clean after finding out about Raesh Khan's lie, which led the police to sift through non-existent files.

II) He lied under oath.

III) He did not take any action when Leon's driver informed him about the affair and only came forward publicly after PAP's belated announcement on TCJ.

IV) It took him four years to take any action regarding the couple on the West Coast, despite PSP's already being involved for years.

If he wins the next GE (assuming the court is lenient in finding that lying under oath is not as serious as lying in parliament [35K]), it will be clear that society considers him the less of two evils, and PAP will have to take steps to clean up its act.; March 21, 2024 6:56 AM
