Verify identity on online platforms

 I suggest the following approach to identify a person uniquely using a phone number that is verified with SingPass. This verified identity is to be used for online platforms.

Only a small group in society are heavy users of online platforms.
The rest are just normal people who use it for work purposes.
In my line of work, where I come in contact with different people, especially the young, they are more interested in getting a home near their parents and travelling. In any free time which is not often, they read the news on their phone. There is more to life than someone else biased and prejudiced opinion of what is right or wrong on a social platform which is unidentified. Some need to get a meaningful job like those blogging here.

I) It took nearly three months for him to come clean after finding out about Raesh Khan's lie, which led the police to sift through non-existent files.

II) He lied under oath.

III) He did not take any action when Leon's driver informed him about the affair and only came forward publicly after PAP's belated announcement on TCJ.

IV) It took him four years to take any action regarding the couple on the West Coast, despite PSP's already being involved for years.

If he wins the next GE (assuming the court is lenient in finding that lying under oath is not as serious as lying in parliament [35K]), it will be clear that society considers him the lesser of two evils, and PAP will have to take steps to clean up its act.

During the C.O.I. hearing Jamus and Faisal were answering in circles: 1) the hearing was very public and they could not be seen as a betrayal to the boss,2) the boss could have already warned them not to play him out? Contempt to the law, not an offence?
Possibly, during the police investigation, they may have answered differently due to confidentiality and privacy?
