There is a man who owns three private properties. He bought them during a time when it was possible to get a 100% loan and there were no TDRS. This is in contrast to today, where it's very difficult to breath in properties. He mentioned that he would vote for PAP. Why? The value of his properties has increased significantly thanks to PAP. The rich is richer including the ministers.

30% would not vote for them.
50% would vote for them.
20% would depend on the quality of the oppositions, policies and the PAP performances.

.It seems like the same people are being placed in government agencies, possibly because they are seen as not stirring the pot. As a result, Chee Hong Tat was recently appointed to MAS? It's concerning because he is already the transport minister, and this could spread him thin and compromise the quality of his work!

It is common nowadays to see shops or eateries in the malls changing hands frequently. You will see a new shop, and not long after the hoarding is up and under renovations, another new tenant will be moving in. Doing business is challenging nowadays.

Although no one wants to see Dr. Lee Wei Ling's untimely demise and the physical suffering she endured before death, it seems that there is a belief that she would still mock, ridicule, and criticize on social media to get her way regarding Oxley. This could potentially mean that ex-PMLee would never have peace in ruling the country. The sentiment expressed is that, regardless of personal family matters, the focus should be on the well-being of the people and the country. Those who knew her mostly approved that she was hot-tempered, opinionated and would not stop till she got her own way. Rest in Peace. The country could move forward without two interferences. Now there is only one.

Most families experience squabbles, conflicts, and differences. Many resort to name-calling or cutting ties, without seeking social media validation. Doing so to the head of the country, especially your own blood speaks volumes of the person.

If not demolished they lose from the monetary value side.
If OxLee is demolished, the benefits LHY gains from the financial transaction hitting the jackpot.
Or if the spirit, of his father, is against his last will, hopefully, he will not suffer the same fate as his sister?

That lazy Kay Leng should have apologized and stepped down, bringing back Low Thia Kiang. He also failed to proact on Nicole Seah and Leon, thus losing 2 heavy WP. Useless leadership. That high pay is not just for performance in Parliament. Now the whole WP is in a mess and before the election with their own party against each other. Pui. Self before party.

Anonymous said...

Justifiably and morally entitled, PAP is supposed to have 56% votes.
But now, due to the leader's negligence and bo chap attitude, the drama has snowballed to the ugliness of the supposedly credible SGP opposition. If they score 65%, maybe WP could give it to them.

Sānpā (三八) might be able to build maybe 10 four-storey cluster housing fence to fence with a basement carpark. He must have done his homework before he bought the freehold property for redevelopment. His father was not even cold when he died; he'd already pushed for demolition. He was just waiting for his sister, and she had not even been cremated yet, yet he did the same. There are no words to describe it. These are not ordinary men and women on the street.

On another day more COES were added to collect more money.
People ended up with trust issues and leaders with lying issues.

During COP, he was extremely evasive and his answers were in a roundabout circle.

A few who think that laws are only for themselves: Putin, China?, Kim Jung Unn, Lee Hsein Yang and THEY know who they are.

"I, the leader of the opposition, sincerely apologize to the people of Singapore. On August 7th, Khan admitted to me over the phone that she had fabricated the story about accompanying a rape victim to make a police report in Parliament. We hope to put these doubts to rest and move forward as the Workers’ Party. We also trust that the law will be fair to all and that justice will be served accordingly. As a leader it is utmost importance that I do the right thing." ( Dated 10th August 2021)

Overly paid to afford this kind of legal drama. No need to end up he says, she says, they say. Now becomes like grabbing straws.

The silent killer of alcohol. It damages your internal organs slowly and it also causes distress and danger publicly and in homes. Yet, drunks are everywhere in the night spots and places where alcohol is sold freely.

Most countries(Dubai, Brunei, Saudi and Muslim countries) legally prohibit the consumption of alcohol in public places some due to religion, others due to the safety of the individuals and the surroundings.

The ban could upset a small group of alcoholics or the collection of GST, but the overall benefits outweigh.

This country has enough social and mental problems judging from its daily news.

**Food Fraud 1** - The Killiney mee rebus only contained 2 teaspoons of sauce, half a hard-boiled egg, 4 pieces of tau kua, and 6 beansprouts. Half the food was not eaten.

**Food Fraud 2** - At Toast Box, it was presented with a picture of a Hainanese pork chop accompanied by rice, a fried egg, with a side of sweet and sour vegetables of onions, tomatoes, and pineapple at the entrance. However, when I provided feedback that there were no vegetables in my dish, the manager claimed that this was how the Toast Box Hainanese pork chop was served. I suggested that they should update the image to reflect the actual dish. They offered to refund me the $10.30, but I declined, feeling that they were misleading customers. Instead, it seemed that they simply gave refunds to those who complained.

*Dollars & Sense*

My faith in the ministers is diminishing. The additional 20,000

COE(Certificate of Entitlement) does not encourage a congestion roads

lifestyle??? Only the multi-millionaires can afford to pay $100,000 for a COE

to let their luxury cars sit in the garage??? Ordinary people scramble to

obtain COEs because they either need a car or prefer not to use public

transport??? So, once again, it seems that the additional COEs do not benefit

the general roads car-lite but rather cater to ministers' families??? Are we

correct in this assumption??? Or was it the 20,000 additional COES

was to placate the public as the $100K is here to stay so as to secure

votes at the expense of fucking up the fucking roads??? Its the usage

not ownership??? As for most, when people pay $100K COES, they tend

to utilise the vehicle highly to make it worthwhile???

Anonymous said...

The purpose of Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) was to control the car population. If the focus shifts to usage rather than ownership, it may be time to cancel the COE system, rather than continuing to exploit it for substantial profits. The things built by previous generations are often destroyed by the younger ones.

Previous governments addressed problems by examining and addressing their underlying structures. In contrast, newer governments often resort to solutions using money, cosmetics, oral supplements or mathematical adjustments.

While previous administrations not only worked hard but also approached issues intelligently, the newer ones focus on effort and cleverness primarily through speeches and responses.

The effectiveness of the opposition is a separate issue. Without their sacrifices, we risk seeing more government workers who are indifferent and disengaged, merely showing up for work rather than fulfilling their responsibilities, going to work rather than doing a job.

*Book smarts gained knowledge from formal education and reading, while street smarts involve practical wisdom and skills acquired through real-life experiences. In our society, we need leaders with both types of intelligence to create better lives. One thing is for sure we don't need acting-wayang smart!*

All sleeping on the job. The public are the ones who are bringing out the dangers. If LKY most will be gone. Some public who shine the spotlight on leaders who need to wake up and take action. They create a world where accountability could be the norm, and together build a better future.

Some citizens are the eyes and ears for change. When leaders nap, some do gently wake them. Collective awareness can pave the way for progress and transformation.

By bringing attention to complacency, which is everywhere nowadays we invite leaders to engage and innovate. Their collective voice can inspire action that truly matters.

By sharing our thoughts and concerns, we can foster a culture of engagement and encourage proactive leadership that resonates with the public's needs.

Vote out the incompetent PAP!

[A Singaporean man involved in a cryptocurrency scam gang was arrested in Thailand. ]

Unfortunately, it's becoming quite common for Singaporeans to make headlines abroad for negative reasons. Another issue that has tarnished reputation is the practice of sending deceased foreign workers' bodies back to their countries.

Decline in Births and the Rise in Singlehood:

1. Career-oriented lifestyles.
2. Stressful living environments.
3. The high cost and time-consuming of raising children.
4. A lack of trust in leaders; we often don't know them personally, and it doesn’t inspire confidence when we do.
5. Issues within the education system.
6. Complicated and twisted policies.
7. A significant concern is the desire for children to grow up in nurturing environments rather than homes that feel like high-rise prison cells..

Anonymous said...

Governments can implement various strategies to encourage higher birth rates and support families. Here are some approaches:

1 "Affordable Childcare": Developing affordable and accessible childcare options helps parents balance work and family responsibilities. Subsidizing childcare services can make it easier for parents to return to work or continue their education.

2."Housing Support": Providing spacious, instant affordable housing solutions for families.

3."Education and Family Support": Programs aimed at educating families about parenting and child development can also help. Offering support services, such as parenting classes and mental health resources, can strengthen family units.

4. "Workplace Flexibility": Encouraging employers to offer flexible work arrangements, such as remote work or adjustable hours, can help parents manage their careers and family life more effectively.

"Why have children when they are left in the hands of the maid? When they reach their teenage years, hardly see them: They lock themselves in the bed- rooms. When they become independent earning their own money, they only come back to sleep and treat the house like a hotel." Accurate?

On my last visit to the Q & M the male Indian dentist had left for London.

Last month, the female dentist [who was newly assigned to me] mentioned that she would be returning to Hong Kong.

Two other, one with Permanent Resident [PR] status family are planning to relocate to Perth in search of a slower pace of life and better housing conditions. Another reason for their move is that while Singapore is still considered safe, it is not as safe as it used to be.

It seems that not only are companies running away; high-quality individuals are also departing.

Having opposition parties in government is essential for a healthy democratic system. Here are some benefits:

Opposition parties act as a counterbalance to the ruling party, ensuring that power is not concentrated in one group. This can help prevent abuses of power and corruption.

Opposition parties hold the government accountable for its actions and decisions. They question policies, propose alternatives, and engage in debates that keep the government transparent.

A multiparty system allows for a wider range of perspectives and ideas to be heard. This ensures that various segments of society have representation and that diverse viewpoints are considered in policy-making.

Opposition parties can contribute to refining and improving government policies through debate and discussion. Their critiques can lead to better legislation and decision-making.

Opposition parties foster a competitive political environment. This competition can drive the ruling party to perform better and address the needs of its constituents more effectively.

🙏Vote in Dr. Chee Soon Juan and Tan Cheng Bock🙏

It can prevent polarization and promote social cohesion by ensuring all voices are heard.

Overall, opposition parties play a vital role in enhancing democracy, fostering accountability, and ensuring that the government serves all its citizens effectively.

🙏Vote in Dr. Chee Soon Juan and Dr. Tan Cheng Bock.🙏
