A friend was put to sleep in the bathroom of a movie theater and everything was stolen from her and she doesn't remember anything, only that a woman gave her perfume to smell.

Tolong hor. Dun, add Pritam Singh as your friend.

He stood up in Parliament and try make PAP accountable, but he himself not accountable to ownself.

This type of ppl cannot take seriously.

Laws apply to everyone, but sometimes, positions and connections result in lesser punishments. This case seems more political than justice to consider the sensitivity of the Workers' Party supporters?

The days when the same laws apply to all are over.

Probably finding a middle ground between paying the fines for trying to cover up ( till under pressure), having the whole police go through the case and lying under oath, but still being able to hold on to his position? Win-win situation.

Anonymous said...

Give credit where credit is due. Not many can have such thick skin to endure this kind of publicity and still hold their heads high. And not many can withstand the pressure cooker and still survive in the limelight?

Anonymous said...

He will still win, albeit with fewer votes. Those in the opposition camps do not have better options.

Anonymous said...

Is it fair to fine someone $30,000 for lying in Parliament but only half price for lying under oath?

Before the cancer spreads, you need to be a good doctor or the best oncologist. The same applies to leaders. One cannot just hope the cancer will automatically go away.

A couple from West Coast had written to Worker's Party chief about their plight. Then, there was no response from the WP (Workersโ€™ Party) nor Mr Pritam Singh. As to why Mr Singh did not do anything for four years, and why he then chose to speak with Mr Leong 4 years later no body knows except him. No sincere attempt?

4 years later he called the couple that someone might visit them , which LMW did promptly?

The higher one goes the harder they fall! One too many excuses?

The West Coast elderly couple waiting for a reply:

You send a messageโ€”whether it's a text, an email, or whatever. Thoughts swirl around: "Did they receive it? Will they be responding? Do they want to talk to me?"

Waiting one day feels like a week. You check repeatedly, each time half-hoping to see something, but also dreading it. What if the reply isnโ€™t what you hoped for? Or what if they donโ€™t reply at all?

Spare a thought for those waiting for a reply!

It's the money he is unwilling to give up. In this world, every man is for himself. If the salary is only SG$3,000 for an allowance, let's see if he fights for his seat.

RK and PS are both rotten apples.
One is the 'BOSS' and receives better treatment from the party.
While the other one is a 'Newbie' who was treated differently.
Party members are looking out for their own place in the party.

" BOSS" can make decisions about who to sack but who can make decisions to sack him? So far he has been calling all the shots? He said the only way is to go up. PAP will go up not him.

The difference between ordinary lies and perjury-

Ordinary Lies: These untruths made in everyday life without legal repercussions.

Perjury: This type of lie that occurs when a person knowingly makes false statements while under oath, such as during legal proceedings. Perjury is a criminal offence because it undermines integrity and it obstructs justice and affect the outcomes of legal cases.

While both involve dishonesty, the key differences in which they occur and the legal consequences associated with perjury.

Honesty is often considered the best policy mainly 2 reasons:

Honesty is personal integrity and character and can lead to self-respect and others see you as a reliable person.

Leaders who are honest sets a positive role-model example especially to children and colleagues and encourage
truthfulness that can influence others to act the same.

We must not just use words and money to get by with others.

SLY FOX likely placed Jamus in his ward as a way to provide him with a lifeline.

Anonymous said...

Why is associate professor Daniel Goh quiet about it this time?

Anonymous said...

The Cunning Fox campaign strategy may explain the need for WP. It would be hypocritical to criticize PAP.

Anonymous said...

Workers Party members, please campaign in confidence. Your conscience is clear, so your "morals" hopefully would not be affected.

A person who never is wrong is often referred to as "narcissistic." This is due to a key character of narcissismโ€”an inflated sense of self-importance. As a result, these individuals tend to think they are always right and that they are perfect. We have many of them in the government and the Worker's Party. A Narcissistic Society! And the losers are the people being governed!

Anonymous said...

Are you a hypocritical leader? And why people do not read or listen to what they say anymore?
This is a great reality check. This question provides a basis for re-examining any inconsistency between the standard you set for people and the standard you set for yourself.

As leaders, Ministers, or MPs, you need to eat your own dog food. Any double standards will dilute trust, and youโ€™ll struggle to achieve the things youโ€™d like to achieve. Consistency of words, rules, and actions is the price of admission, and without that, youโ€™ll disable the one resource you most rely uponโ€”the people.

Ultimately, what matters as a leader is not what you know or believe, nor does it seem to matter much these days what you say. What truly counts is what you do. Talk and lead by examples. Please do not botox your face. Can be seen even a mile away.

Just sharing. Not I say one. During our kampung days, our parents and neighbours used to gossip about Indians. We were told never to give them any powers and that they are lazy and tongue-twisters and off course smell. My immediate neighbour is Indian but they don't have any the kampung aunties and uncles describe.

Boundary Changes- Why are people so surprised when all along we know that the writing has been on the wall?

Anonymous said...

Those " ANCHOVIES" Party please do not come to my ward. Will definitely vote for WP without the turban. As for PAP will vote for Chan Chun Sing, Ong Yu Kung, Hend Swee Kiat.

Boundary Changes: Opposite effect? A change can be beneficial and a wonderful thing, because it may lead to different outcomes or bring new and exciting results.

I praise those who know they will not win but still put themselves forward to give Singaporeans a chance to vote. Thank You.

It's like a beggar trying to rally support for candidates nobody wants. The whole situation can feel uncomfortable and even frustrating, what people actually want and what is being pushed upon them.

Unpopular politicians( e.g. Pritam Sin) should consider standing in Single Member Constituencies (SMCs) rather than Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs) to avoid negatively impacting the overall performance of a GRC. A few reasons why:

1. In a GRC, the performance of one candidate can affect the entire team's chances of winning. If a politician is unpopular, their presence could drag down the overall vote share, jeopardizing the chances of more popular candidates in the group.

2. Contesting in an SMC allows for greater individual accountability.

3. By allowing unpopular politicians to run in SMCs, the electoral landscape remains diverse, offering voters a range of options without risking the stability of a GRC.

4. By running in SMCs, politicians can avoid harming the collective electoral chances of their party.

Please do not use other party members as your lifeline. Think of country other than self !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
