a)Take a Break: If you find the sight of this person particularly upsetting, it might help to step away from the TV for a bit. Focus on something you enjoy to recharge.

b) Sometimes, humor can lighten the mood. Joking about the situation can help you cope with your feelings in a more lighthearted way.

Anonymous said...: Funny moments: I was having lunch at a food court when a family of four took a table. The table had a small packet of chope tissue paper. From their accents, they were either from Taiwan or China and looked more like visitors than residents.

Thinking that the pack of tissue was complimentary from the food court to clean the table, they put it in their bag. Two of them went away to order food. Soon, diners who put the chope tissue returned to their table with their tray of food.

As we had finished our lunch and due to return to the office, we offered one group our table and left for them to sort it out as I was quite sick of the frequent conflicts amongst the people here. Peace?; February 06, 2025 12:19 PM

there is also less money incoming. We should put their annual property taxes up 300% and cut the ABSD. Not sure how businesses here will survive as the younger generation is doing online shopping from cheap stuff that is made in China. a) showing a genuine belief in their principles rather than changing views to suit a few .

b) open about their decision-making processes, funding sources, and willing to share information.( Ridout, Taylor Swift...eg)

c) take the time to listen to their constituents, showing that they value input and are willing to engage .( only take action when situations are out in the open or making rounds on social media.)

d) take responsibility for their actions and decisions, admitting mistakes and working to correct them rather than deflecting blame or avoiding tough questions.( PRATA)

e) show understanding for the challenges faced by their constituents, for policies that address those issues seriously.

f) long-term solutions, instead of quick fixes, a sincere politician prioritizes sustainable policies in the long run. (vouchers and handouts)

g) past actions align with their promises, and they have a history of following through on commitments. (Offence for using H/P for driving, yet the new OBU has all kinds of touchscreens. Not suitable for the bad drivers and the road conditions today)

When it was time to pay with the cruise card, the guy from China tried a few times but was unsure whether the card or the machine was faulty.
He then turns to me and said in front of all my guests; 'You have no money in your card to pay.'

Our request is not motivated by dislike for you but rather by our desire to prevent the PAP party from winning significantly. With the previous boundaries, you achieved only a meager percentage of the vote. What leads you to believe that the new changes will improve your chances?

If your goal is to oppose the PAP party, entering into a contest with three or four-corner fight will only divide the opposition and it will be PAP's gain and opposition's loss.

The same goes for Pritam!
