Luggage arrived promptly at Beijing Airport

I arrived at Beijing Airport on a full flight from Singapore. The clearance through health, immigration and customs was smooth and fast. When I came down the escalator to the luggage collection center, a big sign (which was clearly seen) announced the conveyor belf for my flight.

My luggage already arrived. They were taken off the conveyor belt earlier and stacked neatby by the side.

This is the most impressive experience in my whole life of air travel. It beats the great experience in Singapore.

Beijing Airport is ready for Olympics 2008.

A small tip to get "quick" immigration clearance (arrival) at Beijing Airport.

As you come down to the immigration hall, after clearing health, queue at the nearest "Alien" queue (regardless of how long the queue maybe)- especially when you notice that the "China National" queues are not crowded.

Your opportunity will come sooner or later, when you see an immigration officer coming from the counter towards the queue - this is the moment to be quick as he will re-channel people from this lane to the nearby "China National" counters.

You beat all the other Alliens in Queues down the hall from the middle to the far end.

Try it next time and let us know if it works for you..

And do let us know whether your bag arrives at the AH TOO (Singapore Pop singer if you travel SQ..) conveyor first or your goodself..

No prize for the right answer..
