Hi Mr Tan,
Perhaps you can suggest to FISCA Research to include Fairprice Plus savings account. 0.5% p.a. for amounts <$50,000, and 1% for amounts >$50,000. It's an internet based account like Standchart eSaver
When can we register for FISCA membership?
Mr. Tan, I hope you can provide a service to review policyholders' existing policies. I have been wondering whether my agent has been truthful to me. I also wonder whether she is competent. I have been concerned whether she has done a good job. I have bought 3 whole life policies total $100,000. I have 2 children and my wife is a homemaker and she has a $30,000 living policy. I can't afford for my 2 young children.
After following your blog I am really worried about my insurance and my agent kept assuring me I have enough. She also told me to buy more when I am able or when I get my bonus to buy limited payment living whole life so that I can be covered for whole life.
I hope to join your association to get advice and also to see whether my agent cheated on me. Thank you for caring for us.
Grateful
I also want my policies reviewed. After reading so much in this blog I am suspecting my agent too.
I have 3 children and a wife working and I have 2 types of whole life policies with combined sum assured of $200,000. They cover illness and death and disability.I have feeling it is not enough and yet my agent has been pestering me buy an endowment with cash backs which attracted so much adverse comments on this product.
I need a 3rd party opinion ,independent and objective . Hope FISCA can provide.
Thanks Mr. Tan. You will revolutionise the industry.
FISCA missed out Maybank's iSavvy Savings Account, which earns up to 0.75% for amounts above $50,000 and interest-on-interest every 6 months. It operates similar to StanChart's eSaver Account.
iSavvy rates are better than those offered by all other banks.
FISCA needs to be more savvy in doing research!
Julbank
Mis-selling is getting rampant with insurance agents pushing only products with high commission.Whole life products are expensive and not cost effective and that is why consumers are under insured. If the regulator does not intervene this phenomenon will continue.
The above cases are cause for legal suits should they die with that level of insurance.
Great information. We really need people like you in the market. How and where can we subscribe to FISCA? Can you share with us more on FISCA? Is there a website?
