From hindsight, I wish I have purchased the minibond from a HK bank!

How come, we do not have such compensation in Singapore. Both financial hub, same type of products, same issuers, returns to investors almost the same, tenor about the same, only different govt and regulators.

MR TAN
Thanks for updating. This news is really heart breaking for Singapore investors, especially for those who are mis-sold and misrep. Both fairness and justice are denied to ordinary men. I think we only have to leave it to divine intervention. FROM CASHEW NUT

the worse part is that singapore media refuse to report any news about hk investors receiving high compensation. why?

It is all about public anger, media publicity and opposition party pressure combined that HK finally yielded to compensation. These 3 ingredients are very powerful any where in the world.

Can only resign to the fate.
