US ambassador David Adelman

I attended the reception at the invitation of the US ambassador David Adelman to celebrate the 235th anniversary of the Independence of the United States. Here is a photo with the ambassador. He has three children - so I gave him the shape quiz to pass to them. I also met many Singaporeans who recognize me  and told me that they would be voting for me.

Mr Tan. Why did the US ambassador invite you for the US independence day celebrations.

Hi Sureesh, it's nothing special. My friend asked the ambassador's office if they would invite me, and they agreed. I appreciate their nice gesture. Many Singaporeans working in the US embassy recognized me and told me of their support - which I appreciate very much.

Mr.Tan

Just a matter of curiosity, did you meet any PAP people or PAP's Ministers at the Ambassador's reception.
If yes, then it's an honour that you are invited also, if no, then it speaks volume of your stature with the Americans, and here we are talking about US Independence Day celebrations, a huge significance in terms of real democracy.

The PAP was represented by Lim Swee Say, Yeo Guat Kwang and another MP. Yio Guat Kwang came to say hello, and I gave him a shape quiz. I hope that he will vote for me !!!!

I received a message from someone working in a PAP kindergarten. She said that she will be voting for me. I asked her to spread my message to her colleagues in the PAP kindergarten. I hope that she will do so. (Sorry, cannot tell you which branch of the PAP!)

Mr TKL,

Again out of curiosity, was TT and TCB there? If not, it is a great honour for you.

The ambassador has sort of acknowledging you as the next president...it is an endorsement, right? US needs a friendly President.

I did not see TCB or TT at the US reception.
