Simply Dida Apa, just any other Public Holiday to take a short break overseas.
There is no more passion in celebrating anymore, simply, there isn't a visionary leader to spur us to anticipate and reach greater heights for our country.
Someone once said, "ask not what the country can do for us, but what can we do for our country".
He conveniently forgot that, we senior citizens, are the ones who planted the trees so the younger Gen could enjoy the shade now.
We have done more than anybody else in many other countries, to arrive at this stage in such a short time.
Even 10 LKYs won't be able to achieve much without the hard work of his various Deputies, now 6 feet below ground, and we, the slogging ant workers.
Talk is easy, the ability to execute it out is difficult.
And now weakened with age and health issues, what reward do we get from this country.
No passion, the heart is dead, what's there to celebrate.
