I asked this question in the Wisdom of the Crowd - Should MPs be people who are well educated and successful in their career?

48% - No. They should know the life of ordinary people.
38% - No. They should be able to connect well with the life of the ordinary people.
8% - Yes. They should be the best in our society.
6% - Yes. We need the best to form the pool for our ministers.
Yes - 14%. No - 86%.

Their loyalty to the people are to put bureaucratic obstacles in the way.
