Here are two reasons why you should NOT buy a property in Johore, including Forest City.
a) You will find it difficult to flip the property for a profit.
b) You will find it difficult to rent it out.
If you have to take a loan to buy the property, it does not make sense. They are better ways to invest your money.
Here are some reasons why you should consider to buy a property in Johore:
a) As a retirement home
b) As a holiday home
c) As a long term investment
All these reasons require you to have spare cash, e.g. you got a windfall from an enbloc sale. I do have some spare cash (but not from enbloc sale), so I bought an apartment and an office in Forest City.
