Why locals are not a good hire for most positions:

They live with their parents until they get married. Parents took care of everything. Some singles in their thirties still live with parents. They don't even know how to change a tyre.

Most are brought up by maids. They are used to having things done for them.

How many take public transport to school? Before school ends to take a look at cars queuing to pick them up or maids or grandparents waiting at side gate.

One super-duper kid got under the balls st Ikea, and the family had to complain to the whole world. Most are wrapped in cotton-wool.

Some parents slapped other children because they are roughened up by the other kids.

When the Singaporeans went to discuss business with other countries, words like "Oh in Singapore we do it this way". That is the only sentence they can come up with.

Some maids went back to the countries for annual leave. All one can hear from the Singaporean substitutes were "your house is too big to clean or your house has got too much clutter". The next show-up would be a different face from the agencies. Agencies also headache.

In the end, not all employers can be wrong by not hiring them? Without good staffs, the company also cannot move. Xia Suay.

When they only can only come up with sub-optimized policies to make another group of people to live in misery, calling them snakes is just even too polite.

Debates in parliament-

Each one insists that only they have the true version of reality. In fact, each one holds a small part of a giant jigsaw puzzle. Stop arguing and make all the pieces come together for a coherent and near-perfect picture.

It is easy to hate them. Why? Mostly, not all policies, they stop us from reaching LKY's

rainbow because they have the authority on their side. Most policies are frustrated by the

people. Policies with too many banana skins along the way.

The frustration of the electronic age!!!!!!!!! I had sent a mail through CPF website in late July requesting the monthly deposit change to a different bank account of the monthly retirement funds. The computer-generated reply stating that due to Covid-19 their response will take a little more time than usual and that they would be contacting me. I can understand the reason for the delay, but 2 months and still waiting? There were no telephone numbers to call.
In the meantime, I am unable to close my old account due to CPF inaction. The frustration is becoming ever painful with this government.
