Restructure of taxi service

My main suggestion is that the basic taxi service should operate on fares set by LTA, and use a common telephone center. They are allowed to pick passengers from the road or at bus stands.

Premium taxi services can set their own fares and conditions, but they have to take passengers through their call center only.

So far, nobody has responded to this survey. I hope that some readers can spend the time to go through the 11 articles and comment on some of the ideas. It takes some time and thinking, but we need more of the thinking people in Singapore.
