1,004 visitors to my blog

1,004 people visited my blog on Wednesday 19 March 2008. This is the first time that it exceeded 1,000 visitors.

I don't whether you are aware of or not, your sitemeter setting is allowing everyone who visit ur blog to access ur sitemeter detail including visitor's IP and their refering address. If you don't want to make it public, actually you can setup by using advance option "privacy level" in your manager control window.
But of coz, maybe u delibrately make it public for transparancy. :)
