New ez-Link card

A new ez-Link card is being introduced. What is the purpose of changing to this new card? Read about my experience here.

not only we are wasting money changing, we also waste our time. The new system is not better than the old. In the past, I just tap the card from my wallet but now cannot do it as it showed error. I have to take out the card each and everytime I tap it. There are also frequent mistakes in fare calculations and we have to queue to make a claim, wait a week then go to the station to get back 50 cents. They should ensure it is error free and not make commuters waste their time and effort to get back what is essentially theirs. Many commuters will just forget it and they can then make millions annually from this source.
