The government tries to give subsidies to low income people to help them cope with the high cost of living, such as the cost of education and health care.
A better approach is to implement measures to slow down the increase in the cost of living.

Reduce cost of living.
No use air-con.
Buy 3 rooms even if you need 5.
Eat at hawker centres, not restaurants.
No tuition for school children doesn't matter if they fail.
Use public transport no own private car.
Don't follow fashion. Re-use old -fashion clothes.
No put children on school bus. Teach them to walk or take public bus to school.
Take holidays in ubin.
Best of all no live just exist!
Like dat aircons, restaurants, tuition centres, cars showroom, boutiques, school bus operators
all demise. More jobs cut. Please think of something more sensible.
