There was a shipwreck and the 3 male passengers were stranded. The island had many pretty teenage girls.
The Australian found a local girl and taught her how to play beach volleyball.
The French found a local girl and started an affair with her.
What did the Singaporean do?

ANSWER
The Singaporean telephoned back to ask the boss for instructions.

20 years ago, I felt that this joke was funny. Today, I am worried. Many Singaporeans do not exercise their initiative and have to be told what to do. This has become a habit. It is a bad habit that has to be changed.
