Was the government slow and complacent at the early stages and they are now in panic mode and have to implement extreme measures under the 'circuit breaker' ?

I hold a different view from most other people. I think that the govt acted too early in declaring code Orange.
I complained that the two measures, namely workplace scanning and manual recording of contact tracing details, were largely useless. The resources should have been used towards other more effective measures.
Even now, when the infection had spread more rapidly, I think that the 'circuit measures' were rather extreme. It comes at a very heavy cost to the economy.
Nevertheless, I hope that it will be effective in getting rid of the corona virus. It will probably require more than one month of lockdown, maybe two months.
If I were in charge, I would not call the 'circuit breaker'. I would find other ways to strengthen the social distancing and containment.
We have to wait and see.

We ordered some supplements from AMAZON. The product was the same but the brand and the price difference. The ones we ordered costs around $800. The retail price of the items that were delivered on their web page was $90. $800 was deducted from our account. Messages were sent regarding the wrong things delivered and the wrong amount deducted. So far the reply was digibot. There were no numbers to call.
Buying on internet-recourse is damn impossible.
We sent an email to AMAZON that we were willing to accept the wrong brand product if they refund us the difference in the price which was $700. To which we got a standard AMAZON reply on how to return the wrong sent products.
Do they even read what was sent to them?
