Besides a favourable East Wind, the Opposition needs a "Zhuge Liang".

Unfortunately, all current Zhuge Liangs are earning million dollar salaries.

And all future Zhuge Liangs have already been identified and are on scholarships.

And after that, there is the scholarship bond. And during that bond period, they will be so busy being rotated from one assignment to another ... they will have no core skills when their bond period ends.

- No core skills,
- high salary,
- high debt as a result of using high salary to buy high-end property,
- able to only give orders and write high-falutin white papers
(remember "teach less, learn more"?)
... the only choice left is the civil service.

Zhuge Liang, Zhuge Liang, whereforth art thou Zhuge Liang?

Our opposition politicians are just putting the cart in front of the horses. What is there to scramble for power when there is no power to be scrambled in the first place?

It seems like even before they win a single seat in parliament, they are already plotting to determine who will be the king among the opposition. If such attitude continues, you can rest assure that the PAP kingdom will remain forever in power because that is exactly what they love to see among the oppositions.

Hmm, in politics there is always more than meets the eye.

Nobody wants to be Zhuge Liang because we all knows he was made used of by Liu Bei.

The PAP government's policy are still tolerable. It is uncomfortable but tolerable. To put in a team of opposition with no track record would be a uncomfortable and intolerable.

How do I know most Singaporeans still support PAP? Because very few people join the opposition. It shows many are supportive of PAP or at least they are neutral. :)

The real wayang party are the complainers, whiners and grumblers. Talk and talk whole day until the cow comes home, but in the end, still sitting at home watching TV and hoping someone else joins the opposition and do something to be reported on national tv so that you can sit and laugh over it.

now the show is whether opposition parties like SDP and Reform will unite, and what Chee is up too. hahaha Singapore politics reelly funny and wayang!
