Dr. Susan Lim on TED

From past articles in the Papers, we had the impression that she was a reputable and highly successful liver transplant doctor, one that Singapore was proud of.
Now she is depicted as a doctor who was caught up with extreme greed in her Brunei Royalty cancer case.
Then, why was she involved with a disease outside her expertise in
liver transplant? The patient who died had chosen the wrong doctor, as Dr. Lim had to refer to other doctors for diagnosis advice, and entailed so many layers of extra costs in the process. No wonder the Royal patient died.

Dr Susan Lim spoke well. Her issue with SMA/Brunei can be traced to our curious Competition Council 's rules. Yes, she may not be as innocent as she claimed, but I sure am more sad & angry with the "Law" and how it was impletemented.

Thank you Mr Tan for drawing attention to this video.

After viewing it, I have completely moderated my perception of Dr Susan Lim. I am persuaded that she is a good person who just lost her way. Watch and you draw your own conclusions.
