WOTC - A new government

I asked this question in the Wisdom of the Crowd:

Will a new government run Singapore well?

Here are the responses: (31 Votes)
45 % - They can discuss issues actively in Parliament to find the best solution.
32 % - They can invite the public to give their views and find the solution.
23 % - They can appoint a council of eminent persons to guide the ministers.
0 % - They will mess up the economy and social life.

Kiasi folks here dun have to worry when there is a freak Election and a new Govt takes over. Many highly talented people will appear to lend a hand. Singaporeans are patriotic, adopting a standby stance.
Why these people dun want to join PAP now. Simple, they just dun want to be like the numerous mediocre Ah Dous in the present Parliament, just yes men in exchange for a lucrative pay package.
Like the Malaysians, the silent Electorate is kingmaker, so ignore all the noise and funfair like atmosphere generated by WP, and watch SDP.
Closer to PAP, watch Goh Chok Tong.

A "new" Govt may not be from other political Parties.
It may be from the PAP camp itself. If so, hope that Tharman would be the new leader, and not one from the wishy washy so called 3G OR 4G Camp.
For the sake of Singapore's future, we should be colour blind, and pick the right man for the job, and not give the job to the wrong man.
And God forbids, not another seatwarmer to a third Gen Lee.
