HDB dwellers can try RTM1 for World Cup

Chances are, you will be able to catch 20 World Cup games live and another 11 delayed on a free-to-air Malaysian channel - if the unthinkable happens and Singapore fails to secure the broadcast rights to the football extravaganza.

And some HDB dwellers who can receive Indonesian channels such as RCTI and Global TV may even be able to watch all 64 matches live.

I have not watched rtm1 for more than 15 yeers and I do not even know what frequency it is on.

No Free Lunch in Singa City!
Imagine the consequences if you don't Pay your TV licence?
I don't subscribe to any of the 2 sports channels as I can get it for FOC on TVRI or RTM1.

If we dont get the World Cup, It just shows the policy, "Of Let the market decide/work", has failed miserably and shows the quality of our present day leadership!

I am sure it will cost at least 5% votes!

We expect Starhub or Singtel to deliver after their screwup. We wait and wait.

Since the EPL saga, I went to http://www.myp2p.eu/ and have been enjoying the EPL from there. Choosing what I want to watch without the need to subscribe to Starhub or Singtel.

As for World cup, the above may be the same solution or something else. It is just that the resolution may not be as good as TV. There is always solution and there is no need to depend on Starhub and Singtel. Go to Sim Lim and network, solutions is plentiful. This is the age of internet. Embrace it and enjoy it.

The failure to secure WC rights is truly unimaginable and amazing.

This is just one of the many signs that tell us all is not good for Singapore and the current ruling party is more or less finished.
