2010 World Expo in Shanghai

My first vist to Shanghai was 20 years ago. It was under-developed, poor and dirty. There were few cars on the road. How much has Shanghai changed in 20 years. It is a marvel!

When is China going to modulate their need to be the best, the biggest, and the most memorable among its peers in the whole world.
While aknowledging China has made very impressive strides ov er the last twenty years or so, its need to keep on boasting is like a formerly poor but newly rich man having to show off his wealth in various ways.
After the Expo, the Chinese Govt would seriously set down to burst the asset bubble? We'll see.
