Yes, definitely. There is nothing we can do about it because it is within the guidelines which they negotiated with the government. The Government something could not forsee the impact of the fees on the consumer and allowed the guidline to go through.

Is there a charge for air-tickets booking amendment? I've only came across charges when the ticket is issued.

I share the same view that there are many un-justified charges imposed for doing "simple" tasks. However, I am of the view that late payment charges imposed by the banks is a fair one. We, consumers, should have the responsibility to pay up promptly for the amount we incurred. Also there are ways you could avoid paying late charges eg. paying through GIRO.
