It is important to follow through effectively

PM Lee makes grandiose statements. But his follow through is terrible.

Look at the project for cashless payments and social enterprise hawker centers. They are just two examples out of many.

To succeed, he needs to address the root of the problem. He should listen to views of other people, including those with different views from his.

I wish him better success the next time.

Funny that. Poor chap. He is surrounded by people who don't know all the answers and pretended that they do. When his father was alive he had well-intentioned advice and sincere ones too. Now he is afraid to touch a nerve to those insecure ministers. The problem now is they are all living a total lie, as they have not learn that no one can have all the answers and no one has perfect clarity. When you mingle with only the same kind you go down to their level. The incoming ones resemble the marketing departments focussing on doing commercials.

His men thought they are leaders simply because they are promoted. Leadership is not about a single scene. The challenge is that nobody knows what comes next. (Ranting over)
