Poll: Attitude towards savings

If you earn a modest salary, do you prefer to: (30 replies)

90% - set aside some savings for the future
6% - spend all the earnings now
3% - spend some of the future earnings now, by taking credit or a loan.

I think that the poll is skewed. Of course, we would all prefer to set aside savings. However, preference and ability are two different things.

I think a good poll question to ask is what percentage of your salary are you saving (with and without CPF savings).
