Speaker's Corner 5 pm on 29 Nov - change of plan

There will be an Indian Cultural event at Hong Lim park tomorrow at the same time as my speech. The tents occupy most of the open spaces. I like to ask those who read this message to skip the meeting tomorrow. I will post my speech here.

There is space in a corner of the park for a small crowd For those who miss this announcement and turn up at Hong Lim park tomorrow, I will distribute a hard copy of my speech on the spot.

Dear Mr. Tan,

What about advancing your speech to 3pm? It should be better to cancel the event as many investors have waited 2 weeks for the session.

At least I will be there around 3pm.

Misled Pinnacle notes investor.

You have cleverly canceled this week's meeting. I was eagerly waiting to see how many minibond investors still have hope on you even after you have revealed your political ambitions.

The Indian Cultural Event is called "Dance India, Taste India". You can find out more about the event at
http://www.templeoffinearts.org/sg/newweb/html/diti-home.htm

I am surprised that Hong Lim Park is also used as a cultural event. This means Hong Lim Park is not exclusive for Speaker's Corner only. Something is so wrong here..

Mr Tan,
Will there be a gathering next Sat?

I heard several investors have received rejection letters from their FIs in the last few weeks.

The entire one way "investigation" process is unfair and biased. The burden of proof falls squarely on the one who is filing the complaint--the customer!

What proof do the FIs have that there was NO mis-representation?
It's obvious that it was rampant but yet the customers are treated like criminals. They are left on their own to deal with the stress, the frustration and outrage, and for many a "death sentence" in the form of the rejection letter.

As always, Mr Tan, thank you so much for what you do for us. It seems like you are the only person who truly listens and understand what we are going through.

Whatever the outcome, I appreciate your leadership and your passion to help us continue in our fight.

mr. tan,
I went there last night without reading your announcement. When I saw the Activity held and just went home direct , so did not get your hard copy of speech.

Please kindly put your speech in this blog for those missed it.

Thanks
