A counter staff who said "yes"

I had an unusual encounter with a staff who said "yes" at the check-in counter. It is typical of Singaporeans to say "no". Read the story here.

Dear Mr Tan,

If I may just make a suggestion that whenever you post a link to another entry on another blog, it would be better to post the full link i.e. http://singaporepublictransport.blogspot.com/2009/10/counter-staff-who-said-yes.html in this particular case instead of just the url to the main page.

For some of us readers, the entry may have already been published for quite a while by the time we are reading it.

Hence, it would be a hassle to have to go to the main page and scroll down to look for it.

Worse, if the article has been published very long time ago and may not even be on the first page anymore.

Just a suggestion.

Actually notebook computers are exempted from weight determination for other budget airlines such as Firefly and AirAsia. I have experienced that with those airlines before.

I've tried 3 budget airlines. I'd personally rank them (inclusive of ground and inflight services):

1. AirAsia (narrow winner)
2. Jetstar (close runner-up)
3. Tiger (very distant third)
