Sense a trap

Dear Mr. Tan
Thanks for highlighting on Landbanking Issue. I received many SMS to attend a Seminar at Nee Ann City with no obligation and free gifts to be collected. I left the presentation prematurely for sensing a "TRAP". I did not sign anything on the dotted line.

I received a car from a lady few days ago with free gifts to attend a seminar. Marketing gimmicks like good return and that I am part of the VIP selected.

Beware, telemarketing on landbanking looking for victims again.

What is Govt doing about it as there are clear case of misrepresentation?
The most Govt can do is ask MAS to look into it.

What is MAS doing about it?
Nothing.

Time sharing also uses a similar tactic; promising a gift after attending its about an hour's presentation.

Beware of "Free Flight/Holiday Traps" happening right smack in Orchard Rd. The Modus Operandi targeting innocent couples in many ways and tactics! All they need to see is the couple's NRIC (2) and Credit Card.

If goes uncheck, our little Red Dot will be tarnished!
