Defamatory messages

One person continues to post defamatory and insulting messages against the agents and current CEO of NTUC Income in this blog. I have blocked a few dozen of these messages, but might have allowed some to go through by mistake. I like to ask this person to stop posting these messages, as it is a burden on me to moderate them.

In the process of rejecting these messages, I have made a mistake in rejecting a few unrelated messages that were intended to be passed. I apologise to their writers for this mistake.

Mr. Tan, this ceo deserves to be criticised. What he is doing is pulling a wool over the consumers' eyes. He tries to claim credit for what you did during your time as ceo , the good return and affordable insurance and he is claiming as if he did.He must be corrected. The public must be aware that what he claims is not true and not acheiveable in the present context. He is trying to mislead the consumers using your achievement that those figures are sustainable.
He also keeps making reference to the year 2006, your last year at ntuc, the year when sale was down due to the agents not happy with commission cut. That year it was down tools and some agents quit and the company's result affected.. This is unfair comparison. What he is trying to do is to make you look stupid and make him look smart and more capable. Everyone knows he is using high commission and incentives to pander to the greedy agents to push the expensive products to thier trusting policyholders to produce those figures. The products now are questionable in term of protection and return.
When the company advertised about "honesty is the best policy", I disagreed because the company stopped providing the yield information for their products and which you did. This is no transparency and it is concealment of truth of low return and protection of the products.
I hope the public is more discerning and also that they will consult FISCA when in doubt and before buying.
The public must be made aware of highfalutin ideas and arguments intended to delude especailly by the use of convoluted semantics to confuse. In other words those so called revolutionary changes cannot hold water for long. It is a flash in the pan.

NTUC ceo had it coming. From the $2000 chairs to spending the orphaned money on themselves and oversea trips for agents.
Worse he never replied to email. The stuck up.

Is rebranding necessary? Look at the horrible color ad in the ST. What is he doing? He has spending policyholders' money on kite flying and the 'rebranding'. Now , we know where our bonus has gone to.

Today , ntuc has an ad announcing its rebranding.
While I agree that it was 'made different' but its agents and products NEVER make any difference to the lives of the consumers. No value add when you push product because the agents and also the buyers have no idea where he or she is going, no goal.
Albeit, made different ntuc makes no difference to the policyholders' life or perhaps the ceo is thinking of this ,'make a mess of their customers' life. So , is the company for the people(consumers)?
Let me advise NTUC INCOME CEO on these areas if he is really serious about transforming the company into a "for the people company" instead of talking fanciful and highfalutin ideas which are more figment of his imagination..
1. cut the cost down and translate that into low premium and higher return for policyholders.
Tell the greedy agents to stop being greedy and be passionate about the job of how to help their clients acheive their financial goals.
2.turn your product pushing agents salesmen into advisers or planners and make them conduct need analysis, ie make them do financial planning .Don't be a wolf in sheep's clothing, with fancifool titles. Get real.
3. remove the dubious products like revosave and throw them into the cesspool,.
If you do the above there will be transformation.
Right now the company is ME, the agents also ME; it is by the people for the company and the agents, the policyholders are not in the equation except doing the paying.
You have been made unequal; made one above others; but are you delivering better than others? Look at your products , they are rotten and expensive. How can they be for the masses, for the man in the street?
Look at your agents, they are peddling these products like koyok salesmen. How can this behaviour help the man in the street to retire, to be adeqautely protected.
Internal governance, more training for them, audit them improve the internal processes, all these areas must be tweaked too. Expensive products, unqualified agents, no proper need based approach lead to poor dealing outcome for the policyholders..
Remember this, NTUC INCOME was created for the man in the street, the ordinary people, the poor folks and NOT for the agents to get rich quick or the company stashed with a lot of cash for high living.. This goal has NOT changed, the man in the street may look different in different clothing but his or her needs have NOT CHANGED.They need adeqaute protection at low cost and decent return to prepare for golden years. Plain vanilla products, simple as ABC and NOT fancifool products with fancifool names so that they give the best in the market because you are made different.
CEO, read this. eat, sleep, bathing, toileting and jogging think of these.

I don't think he ever come here. He will pengsun when he sees what people write about him. He is not popular outside the company. The greedy agents love him. Anyway these good for nothing agents will love anyone who can give them high commission.Mr. Tan should know.

he is the ceo of a koyok company where only koyok products are sold . The salespeople have titles like koyok consultants.

When he took over he had his mission and vision..
his tagline was make insurance make a difference and now 'made different'.. He is fickle minded. He is grasping the straw as long his agents are salesmen and koyok pushers.
Running down the competitors also won't help. it only makes him look more stupid. What does ntuc give back to the policyholders? Peanuts!!!2.5% after 30 years can help you retire? He is a big clown.

Although NTUC was 'made different' but can NTUC make a difference to the life of the man in street? You bet. With unqualified agents pushing toxic products how to make a difference?
The difference I can see is the man in the street is poorer and under insured but the agents getting richer and more incentive trips to exotic land. The company can boast of increase in their assets.
NTUC should realise that when it tried to 'make insurance , make a difference' it was not working becuase with greedy insurance agents pushing products with high commission how to make a difference to the life insurance of their customers?
Well, ntuc can say whatever it likes, they are meaningless, they highfalutin to bullshit the man in the street. They have seen a lot of it over the last 2 years. It is crying wolf.

What is happening to the world?
Pfizer is fined $billions for unethical practices
for bribing doctors to use their drugs with massages, incentive trips etc.
What about insurance agents? They too are bribed every year with all kinds of incentives to rob their clients of their heard earned money.
Are consumers incentivised to be robbed too? Yes, also with free gifts. It is rampant now .
Where have honesty and ethics gone to?

I hate the colour of the new logo, it's too wishy washy and lack fine taste, reinforcing the low class image of NTUC Income.
