I am now the target of a potential scam.

Hehehe.

Outwardly the CEC members *seemed* to be throwing more straws for the LO to grasp. After all what choice do they have? Not many?

Inwardly those with emotional and upright intelligence surely would think and feel, " If he could use everything and anyone to cover his inadequacy, would I be next?"

It could be business as usual, unless those around him are brain dead, you better start watching your back?

I also nearly got a small small scam from Gain City AirCon.
I call up call centre if they can give me the handphone number for the technition so I can call and confirm time because I have to be home. Time given to me between 2 to 4pm.
Lady answer said she did not have his number but she can call him to call me back.

Whoever trying to instil a cashless society ought to be shut.

Since the OCBC scam scandal, I have received SMS from my bank not to call back any number if received as they do not send out any messages for call back.
I then received an SMS from the same bank to call a certain number, as there was a suspicious transaction on my card.
When I tried making a payment using my card, it was declined. I then realised that the message sent could be true. Luckily, I had cash with me. Cashier's answer was they do not accept cash, they were told to go about cashless. The purchase was cancelled.
Not knowing what to do, I physically went to the nearest branch of the bank. At the bank,
the staff behind the counter tried calling the card department, after 5 minutes of pressing and navigating the pressing numbers with my phone. 15 minutes after, finally, a human answered( mind it was lunch-time, so staff shortage?)
In the meantime, my card remains cancelled.
A new card will be issued to me with a new pin.
The bank will take 90 days to investigate, and if I did not make the suspicious transaction, the amount will be credited back to my card. Phew!
I am experiencing symptoms of mystery as the card never even left my wallet.
