Oppressive means not allowing the country to run "AMOK".

Only parents who have their own biological children can understand "OPPRESIVE".

"OPPRESIVE" can also mean to keep "VOLCANOES" under control.

Overall though, I have nothing but gratitude for an oppressive government that has to keep a lid on blood in the streets.

Some obnoxious and my-gain people which we can see on social media should pack their bags to go and live in "NORTH KOREA, IRAQ, MEXICO, SYRIA and the PHILIPINES". Why still live here if it is so bad???

If most people was him, they would take the post of head of DBS earning more than 10 million a year. After 10 years can more than retire luxuriously. Why work as head of the country with only one-fifth of the salary and carry all the country, people, whinger's problems and woes of everyone and everything on your shoulders till look like a skeleton. Man, you are great. Salute. Only the ungrateful people cannot see your care for the country.
