Book early to enjoy lower hotel rates

I few weeks ago, I visited the website of a specific hotel in Philadephia and found the room rate to be USD 160. I was not able to confirm the booking at that time. I made the booking today. The rate for the same room increased to USD 240.

Lesson: book early to enjoy a lower rate.

Yes. You are correct.

Usually, the cancellation policy for hotel reservation in the United States is around USD15.00 - USD20.00 for more than 7 days preceding your check-in date.

Hence, even should you decide to cancel the hotel reservation, it is still cheaper than to book last minute instead.
