Google Medical Records

Google has developed a system for a patient to enter his medical records. This is explained in the Youtube here.

TKL Central Medical Records system allows the doctors and clinics to update the records and to send the bills to the employers and insurance companies.

This is a great way for doctors to help their patients more efficiently. It will make for easy access to patient medical records, and will be easier for hospitals and insurance companies to get the most up to date information at all times. I think this will help the hospitals run smoother, faster, and with less waiting time at the emergency room. I just hope Google has made this information extremely secure, even the US Airforce had been hacked and many Iraq veterans had gotten their identity stoeln. We must make sure the medical records of people across the world will be safe.

Google is leading the way again. Well done. If only everyone has a Google Online Medical Record account. It makes doctors' job easier. As we travel more often, it's hard to retrieve medical records sometimes. So every patient should have a google account card that may be printed from the browser, carried wherever he goes. If he is hit in an accident, the doctor can scan the barcode on this card to retrieve his records online. He may change his password and a new barcode would then be automatically created, which can be printed again.
