Contact person for Kirby McInerney

Dear Mr. Tan,
Of late, I have received calls from a few investors (who have read your blog about me) that they have been approached by an unknown person  saying that he also represents Kirby McInerney interests and that he could also help to facilitate.

For all intent and purpose, perhaps you could inform all investors in your blog to direct their queries and address their concerns only to me.  They should not be talking to anyone else in Singapore who may mislead them.   Thank you

It would be good that Mr. Teo can consider publishing his letter of engagement by the US Law Firm so that all know that he is the legal and only representative.

Mr. Teo is the legal representative of Kirby McInerney. If you do not trust his statement, it is all right for you to stay away from the class action.

The anonymous person criticized me for over-reacting. I refused to publish his criticism, as he remained anonymous. If he wish to have his views considered for publication, he can send an e-mail to kinlian@gmail.com.

This blog is not for people to make their demands.

During the Minibond saga, we depended on Mr. Tan's blog for updates, information and sharing of experience. It was important as we, the investors, suffered together, bonded and provided support to one another in this Blog. Each managed to find the courage to take action and we continue to do so. Very often, we selfishly asked and suggested Mr. Tan to do more but as he is not a Notes investor, it is only right for him to tell us to take the lead while he provided us with whatever support avaialble e.g. finding lawyers, holding HLP update talk, publication on MB from other countries etc.

Just like the KM lawyers seminar. Why ask Mr. Tan to do what you suggest when you can write directly to Mr. Teo as the contact number and email address is there. I spoke to Mr. Teo and he is helpful and most willing to answer all my questions I put to him. Mr. Teo alone can decide any suggestions put to him.

Mr. Tan's has published the suggestion of KM Lawyers' proposal, provide occasionaly update while Mr. Teo is only seeking Mr. Tan's help to reach out to more people on KM's seminar.

Does Mr. Tan endorse Mr. Teo's proposal? Is Mr. Tan behind the creation of KM Seminar? Did Mr. Tan ask Mr. Teo to set this up? These are irrelevant questions.

Please do not fall into the trap of associating a product to famous names e.g Minibond to UOB, Citibank, ABN, Goldman sach etc. For this matter is KM suit to Mr. Tan. In my opinion, Mr. Tan provided us a proposal from KM with Mr. Teo the rep. It is up to us to make a grown-up decision whether to take it up after the seminar. Any questions or suggestions before the siminar, one can talk or write to Mr. Teo. If still unsure, then write to Mr. Tan and we can discuss in this Blog. End of the day after the discussion, you still have to decided what to do.

This is probably the reason why Mr. Tan wrote his book. To educate the general public and let them make better finanical decision and if in doubt, writing to his blog to seek advise or join FISCA and get professional advise.
